Rob Hogan - Managing Director

Rob brings sophisticated business leadership and financial management expertise to SECCI’s Board. His extensive experience in building and leading large-scale enterprises, combined with his strong local ties and strategic vision, strengthens SECCI’s ability to deliver outcomes with both commercial discipline and community focus. β€―

Rob is an experienced business founder, director, and industry leader with a proven track record in growing and managing complex organisations. β€―
 
In 1997, Rob and Rebecca founded The Country Care Group, an assistive technology and home care equipment company that has expanded to include more than 70 stores nationally and internationally, supported by significant manufacturing operations. The company employs around 800 staff β€― and has grown into one of Australia’s leading providers in its field. 


He has also held leadership roles with key industry bodies, including serving as director and chairman of non-for-profit industry bodies. Rob’s background spans structural engineering, heavy machinery operations, and agriculture, underpinned by extensive experience in corporate governance, financial oversight, and strategic planning.β€― 

Rob has worked extensively with government departments at both the state and federal levels over the past 28 years, leading negotiations on major supply contracts and policy matters. His proven ability to engage constructively with government stakeholders across a range of issues has resulted in long-term partnerships and successful outcomes. 

 

As a property owner and shareholder in local marine facilities, Rob combines high-level business and financial expertise with a strong commitment to the south-east coast communities.  

 

Rob’s leadership brings strategic insight, operational depth, and a strong results focus to SECCI. His extensive experience engaging with government departments adds a valuable dimension to the organisation’s advocacy and long-term strategic planning efforts. 



Mark Rothall - Director


Mark plays a pivotal role in SECCI’s leadership, bringing extensive local industry knowledge, operational experience, and deep community connections to the organisation. His long history in the fishing and farming industries, along with decades of community involvement, grounds SECCI’s strategic direction in practical insight and local expertise. 
 
Mark brings more than four decades of hands-on industry experience and community leadership to SECCI. Having worked extensively in the professional rock lobster fishing industry and as a beef cattle farmer, Mark has developed a deep understanding of the economic and environmental factors that shape the South East region. 


Mark has held a number of key leadership roles, including President of the Kingston Fisherman’s Association, Chairman of Cape Jaffa Marine Facilities and the Cape Jaffa Community Corporation, and co-Chair of the Cape Jaffa Seafood and Wine Festival. His long-standing involvement in local sea rescue services, community organisations, and industry associations reflects his commitment to regional resilience and collaboration. 


Mark’s extensive local industry knowledge, combined with his strong community ties and practical governance experience, provides SECCI with valuable insight into coastal operations, stakeholder engagement, and community priorities. 


Jodie Gluyas – Director


Jodie has a long history of community involvement across the Kingston and Cape Jaffa region.


Over the years, she has actively contributed to local Netball, Basketball, and Tennis committees, holding roles as Treasurer and Secretary, and is a proud Life Member of the Saints Netball Club.


She previously served eight years as a Councillor for the Kingston District Council and has held several leadership positions within the community, including current Chairperson of the Kingston Retirement Village Board and former Chairperson of the Gall Park Management Committee.


Alongside her community commitments, Jodie plays an active role in her family’s local businesses, managing the financial administration and bookkeeping across their operations.


She also provides bookkeeping support for the Cape Jaffa Marine Facilities, strengthening her connection to local coastal management initiatives.

 

Jodie is deeply passionate about her community and the people who make it special. She is committed to supporting projects that strengthen local connections, encourage collaboration, and celebrate the region’s coastal lifestyle.


With strong family values and a genuine dedication to giving back, she continues to play an active role in helping coastal communities across the South East thrive for generations to come.


Hayley Peacock – Company Secretary 


Hayley brings strong organisational, financial, and governance support skills to SECCI through her role as Company Secretary.

She has worked alongside Rob Hogan for the past five years as an Executive Assistant, providing high-level support across multiple businesses and entities.

In this role, Hayley has been responsible for managing budgets, coordinating financial reporting, overseeing property and investment administration, preparing board papers and strategic documents, and ensuring compliance and operational efficiency across complex structures.

Prior to this, Hayley worked as a Branch Manager in a mining town in Western Australia, gaining valuable leadership and financial management experience through overseeing budgets, reporting, and daily operations.
 
Passionate about making a meaningful difference, Hayley brings a practical and detail-oriented approach to governance and administration, supporting SECCI’s Board to operate effectively and transparently as the organisation grows.
