MEET OUR TEAM
SECCI is powered by people who live, work, and care deeply about our coast. Our Directors work collaboratively with government, industry, and the community to ensure the coastline is protected and cared for now and into the future.
Rob Hogan - Managing Director
Rob brings sophisticated business leadership and financial management expertise to SECCI’s Board. His extensive experience in building and leading large-scale enterprises, combined with his strong local ties and strategic vision, strengthens SECCI’s ability to deliver outcomes with both commercial discipline and community focus.
Rob is an experienced business founder, director, and industry leader with a proven track record in growing and managing complex organisations.
In 1997, Rob and Rebecca founded The Country Care Group, an assistive technology and home care equipment company that has expanded to include more than 70 stores nationally and internationally, supported by significant manufacturing operations. The company employs around 800 staff and has grown into one of Australia’s leading providers in its field.
He has also held leadership roles with key industry bodies, including serving as director and chairman of non-for-profit industry bodies. Rob’s background spans structural engineering, heavy machinery operations, and agriculture, underpinned by extensive experience in corporate governance, financial oversight, and strategic planning.
Rob has worked extensively with government departments at both the state and federal levels over the past 28 years, leading negotiations on major supply contracts and policy matters. His proven ability to engage constructively with government stakeholders across a range of issues has resulted in long-term partnerships and successful outcomes.
As a property owner and shareholder in local marine facilities, Rob combines high-level business and financial expertise with a strong commitment to the south-east coast communities.
Rob’s leadership brings strategic insight, operational depth, and a strong results focus to SECCI. His extensive experience engaging with government departments adds a valuable dimension to the organisation’s advocacy and long-term strategic planning efforts.
Mark Rothall - Director
Mark plays a pivotal role in SECCI’s leadership, bringing extensive local industry knowledge, operational experience, and deep community connections to the organisation. His long history in the fishing and farming industries, along with decades of community involvement, grounds SECCI’s strategic direction in practical insight and local expertise.
Mark brings more than four decades of hands-on industry experience and community leadership to SECCI. Having worked extensively in the professional rock lobster fishing industry and as a beef cattle farmer, Mark has developed a deep understanding of the economic and environmental factors that shape the South East region.
Mark has held a number of key leadership roles, including President of the Kingston Fisherman’s Association, Chairman of Cape Jaffa Marine Facilities and the Cape Jaffa Community Corporation, and co-Chair of the Cape Jaffa Seafood and Wine Festival. His long-standing involvement in local sea rescue services, community organisations, and industry associations reflects his commitment to regional resilience and collaboration.
Mark’s extensive local industry knowledge, combined with his strong community ties and practical governance experience, provides SECCI with valuable insight into coastal operations, stakeholder engagement, and community priorities.
Hayley Peacock – Company Secretary
Hayley brings strong organisational, financial, and governance support skills to SECCI through her role as Company Secretary. She has worked alongside Rob Hogan for the past five years as an Executive Assistant, providing high-level support across multiple businesses and entities. In this role, Hayley has been responsible for managing budgets, coordinating financial reporting, overseeing property and investment administration, preparing board papers and strategic documents, and ensuring compliance and operational efficiency across complex structures.
Prior to this, Hayley worked as a Branch Manager in a mining town in Western Australia, gaining valuable leadership and financial management experience through overseeing budgets, reporting, and daily operations.
Passionate about making a meaningful difference, Hayley brings a practical and detail-oriented approach to governance and administration, supporting SECCI’s Board to operate effectively and transparently as the organisation grows.
